For some documents, it is not necessary to keep them forever. Others are to be deleted after a certain period of time for data protection reasons. The automatic expiration date allows you to specify when certain documents should be deleted automatically.
Set a default expiration date for all documents
To set an expiration date for all documents, go to your account settings in the Webapp. Then activate the checkbox for Set default expiration date. You are then asked to set an expiration date in years.
Set a default expiration date for individual documents
If you want to set a default expiration date for a single document, open the document and click on the menu at the top right. Then go to Edit Expiration Date.
Enter a date and confirm the date with the checkmark on the top right.
